Bang Bang Bangus is Officially the Next Big Thing in Philippine Franchising

Michael Allan S. Canlas, CEO of Bang Bang Special Crispy Bangus bagged 1st place in the recently-held NextGen in Franchising Philippines Competition during the 2021 Franchise Asia Virtual Convention.

“The whole NextGen journey was a big blessing to us!  It was an honor to present our business to the delegates of Franchise Asia and winning this prestigious competition really marked a new beginning for Bang Bang,” says Canlas.

Canlas bested 36 other contenders who were franchise entrepreneurs, aged 35 years old and below. For the finals, the results were based on a live voting among the delegates of the convention.

Bang Bang opened its first store on June 7, 2020 and as this pandemic baby is quickly growing desite the economic challenges that the industry is facing.

“Rest assured that all of us in Bang Bang are working very hard to grow this business. As a Filipino company using Filipino ingredients, we know that our growth would also affect the lives of our fellowmen—from our fisherfolk, to bangus processing employees, to entrepreneurs, to store crew. In our own little way, we would like to contribute to our country,” says Canlas. 

Now with 33 branches and fast-growing, Bang Bang Bangus is gearing up for its nationwide and global expansion. It is working its way to establish itself as a household name in the take-out food kiosk industry with its unique and flavorful big boneless bangus.
